I.Project Overview

The Songliao Basin Deep Drilling Project for Resources and Environment (Well Songke-2 / SK‑2) is a national major geological scientific research project. It aims to obtain continuous in-situ geophysical parameters down to 6,400 meters in the Songliao Basin and establish a scientific "calibration well" for geophysical exploration, providing core data and technical support for the study of paleoclimatic and environmental evolution as well as the construction of the "Centennial Daqing".

2. Core Technical Challenges

Ultra-deep well operation: Multiple casing strings, long cementing intervals and high running-in risks

Ultra-high temperature environment: Bottom-hole temperature exceeding 200℃, which conventional tools cannot withstand

Research-grade high reliability: 100% one-time success with zero failures is mandatory

Long-section cementing requirements: Multi-stage cementing with stringent requirements for sealing performance and stability
